Some memory/floating point simulation results. Not really a benchmark, but data none the less.
Kruskol's minimum spanning tree alg. w/ floating point weights
Pentium-2 300MHz, 128Mb RAM:
20,000 random: 2 minutes 35 seconds
10-20,000 all: 7 minutes 5 seconds
P-Pro (4 processors) 200Mhz, 512Mb RAM:
20,000 random: 4 minutes 3 seconds
10-20,000 all: 11 minutes 11 seconds
Ultra1 167Mhz 512Mb RAM:
(with a lot of optimization compilation flags)
20,000 random: 7 minutes 48 seconds
10-20,000 all: 13 minutes 42 seconds
Ultra2 (8 processors) 248Mhz 2.0Gb RAM:
(with a lot of optimization compilation flags)
20,000 random: 5 minutes 13 seconds
10-20,000 all: 9 minutes 14 seconds
